TPR service Company, as part of its research and development projects, presented the first Italian project based on the handling of routes payments through NFC technology.
The presented system allows to buy a credit through WEB site to be used for urban and extra-urban bus routes.
The credit bought is automatically transferred on the latest generation mobiles compliant with the NSF Standard.
Bringing the mobile near the on-board validator inside buses or at the access gates in subways, your credit will be decreased by the corresponding amount of the route.
Through this system we can significantly reduce investments incurred by Companies for management of consumables (tickets, contactless cards etc..), moreover we can provide users the possibility to use its own mobile as means of access to the public transport.
