In its minimal configuration the CDB 900 allows the collection of validation data, the management of on-board validator (VTX 400) and the transmission of data to the storage concentrator through GPRS or WiFi. In its maximum confifiguration the CDB 900 runs in real time the procedures AVL/AVM, that is to say:
For detection through bus stops identification, through gps, through gyrometer, through odometer and map-matching.
For management of the driver terminal, for sales functions, for validation functions and passengers counting.
For interfacing to equipment on-board through Can Bus, LAN or serial lines RS485.
For cameras management and automatic OCR recognition of plates number.
For automatic data loading-unloading via GPRS or WiFi.
For management of driver’s voice, passengers speaker, emergency listening.
For with WiFi communication with information totem located near the bus stops or TAG approval.
For radio communication of data and voice GSM/GPRS .
For log and remote maintenance of CPU software.

The on-board computer CDB 900, thanks to OCR systems, makes the travel more secure: CDB 900 manages 2 on-board cameras, the first one turned to the driver, so it can be switched on driving through routes at risk, the other one facing out, on the front of the vehicle, to record and store the number plates of cars that occupy the reserved lanes.
